CMD Corporation Ranks Among the Best Places to Work in National Contest
CMD Corporation, an established equipment technology manufacturer, has earned a place among the Best Places to Work in the Plastics Industry for the fourth consecutive year. International trade publication Plastics News and Best Companies Group presented CMD with this award at the Executive Forum, May 5-7 in Naples, Florida.
“CMD is thankful to be honored for the 4th consecutive year,” says CMD President, Steve Sakai. “We have been focused on developing a customer-focused, collaborative culture, and our employees continually work hard and contribute to advancing our technology and enhancing our customers’ experiences. It is the dedication, creativity and skill of our employees that earned CMD this award.”
Companies across the United States and Canada entered a two-part survey process evaluating workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, demographics, and employee experience. The combined scores determined the top firms and final rankings.
Several factors contributing to CMD’s ranking include wellness programs and Health Lifestyle Appraisals, coaching and wellness activities, diverse and long tenured employees, low employee turnover, an environment of mutual respect, flexible work schedules, and a broad sense of community and caring among all employees. According to the Best Places to Work survey, 98% of CMD’s employees “are proud to work for this organization.”
